Top Trending Holiday Survey Phrases

It’s beginning to feel a lot like the holidays here at SurveyMonkey.  No, we aren’t talking about the office holiday party, the pretty lights and decorations in the stores all around, or even the canned food drive we just finished.  Nope.  The surest sign the holidays are here in full force are all of the holiday related surveys our customers are sending out.

During this season of giving, we can all use a little help with getting the best data to make sure things are bright (and that no one is left out of the office white elephant gift exchange or new year’s party or forgets to bring it on for the gingerbread decorating contest).

To better understand what the top trending topics are, we searched for holiday phrases in titles of publicly accessible surveys on SurveyMonkey and generated the word cloud below.  Words and phrases that appear in larger, bolder font mean those words and phrases are used more frequently in survey titles. Ugly sweater parties appear to be on the rise.

Thanks goes to Wordle for the nice graphic representation of our data.

And it’s never too late for you to send out your own holiday survey to see how people enjoyed your event, or what New Year’s resolutions are popular amongst your customers or members this year, or to gather ideas for last minute gifts, or to vote on the best neighborhood snowman, or to compare and contrast who thinks they are on the nice or naughty list vs. who really should be on the nice or naughty list… Happy holiday data gathering!

Have you used SurveyMonkey to make your holidays a little easier? Please do share.

  • Right here is the perfect website for anyone who hopes to understand this topic. You understand a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I personally will need to…HaHa). You certainly put a brand new spin on a topic that’s been discussed for many years. Great stuff, just wonderful!
