On Friday, May 19th 2023, we are holding our third Monroe County Mental Health Champions Annual Fundraising Gala at the Bloomington Convention Center. At this event, we will be recognizing members of our community who exemplify our mission by providing outstanding service and advocacy for those dealing with mental health issues.

Nominations can be made for the following categories:
Outstanding Mental Health Provider
This individual serves as a mental health provider in Monroe County who has made exceptional contributions to the area of mental health through treatment of mental health issues, advocacy, raising awareness of mental health issues, and/or otherwise furthering the cause of mental health awareness for individuals and the community.
Outstanding Mental Health Volunteer
This individual serves as a volunteer in Monroe County who has made exceptional contributions to the area of mental health through dedicated time, energy, and effort to decrease stigma and increase access to mental health treatment.
Outstanding Educator
This individual serves as an educator in Monroe County who has made exceptional contributions to the area of mental health through awareness of mental health issues, offering support, providing guidance, and/or otherwise furthering the cause of mental health awareness for students and/or colleagues.
Outstanding Primary Care Provider
This individual serves as a primary healthcare provider in Monroe County who has made exceptional contributions to the area of mental health through knowledge of mental health treatment and considering mental health part of primary healthcare through patient advocacy, support, and community outreach.
Outstanding Social Services Agency
This award is for a Monroe County social services agency who has made exceptional contributions to the area of mental health through work to increase access to mental healthcare, decrease barriers preventing access to care, strengthening relationships within the community, and community outreach to support mental health care knowledge in Monroe County.
Outstanding First Responder
This individual serves as a First Responder in Monroe County who has made exceptional contributions to the area of mental health through awareness of mental health issues, being on the frontlines to assist individuals and families experiencing mental health issues, and being an active part of decreasing stigma related to mental health.
