PARTICIPANTS ARE EXPECTED TO:
• Attend program seminars focusing on the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP);
• Meet weekly (Beginning Teacher & Support Provider) to develop standards-based action plans, reflections, and participate in problem solving regarding CSTP Standard 4: Planning Instruction and Designing Learning Experiences for All Students;
• Complete an Inquiry: Essential Components of Instruction, involving creating an action plan, investigating resources, classroom observations, and peer collaboration;
• Complete a Support Provider observation to demonstrate professional development within CSTP Standard 4 and lesson planning, including an analysis of student work, and participate in a reflective post-conference;
• Complete a self-reflection and self-evaluation using CSTP Standard 4: Planning Instruction and Designing Learning Experiences for All Students to develop an Individual Induction Plan; or Support Provider Continuum;
• Collect and evaluate evidence as defined by completion of Induction requirements;
• Demonstrate the use of the Assess, Plan, Teach, Reflect, Apply teaching cycle;
• Complete all Program components and evaluations.
