The YAL Leadership Team is only for people who are serious, professional, and dedicated to advancing freedom. We are looking for youth activists interested in taking on a greater role in the liberty movement and willing to commit significant time to our cause.
The mission of Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is to train, educate, and mobilize youth activists committed to "winning on principle." Our goal is to cast the leaders of tomorrow and reclaim the policies, candidates, and direction of our government.
Please fill out each question below accurately and completely. If you have any questions please email contact@yaliberty.org. A YAL staffer will contact you shortly with more information.
Available Leadership Positions:
1. Regional Directors: YAL is hiring seven Regional Directors (RD) to lead our operations in territories throughout the country. Regional Directors are identified leaders in the field who are tasked to recruit new activists, start and advise YAL chapters in their area, attend weekly conference calls with the YAL national staff, and provide a vital communications connection with our rapidly expanding network. RDs are part-time staffers, expected to perform specific tasks and dedicate approximately 20 hours per week. Each RD is paid $1,000 monthly and responsible for one of these seven regions:
2. State Chairs: For each of the 50 states, YAL will appoint one State Chair. State Chairs join RDs in their efforts to recruit members, as well as start and support YAL chapters. The 50 State Chairs are expected to participate in regular conference calls and work at least seven hours per week. State Chairs are volunteer positions and coordinate projects among chapters statewide, producing effective activism events for liberty.
3. Regional Organizers: Working closely with their State Chair and Regional Director, Regional Organizers are the eyes and ears on the ground. They are up-and-coming leaders on their campuses and in their communities. They assist with statewide operations and facilitate communication between the different campuses in their network. This is a flexible position, and your role will be based on your own unique skills and experience. Regional Organizers are volunteer positions and expected to commit to about five hours to YAL per week.
