Walking Towards Better Health

Walking Towards Better Health Questionnaire

The Long Term Conditions Alliance Scotland (LTCAS) aims to give a voice to the 2 million people living with long term conditions in Scotland. Our vision is for a Scotland where people living with long term conditions enjoy, not endure full positive lives.

LTCAS and Paths for All are working in partnership on a new project called ‘Walking Towards Better Health’. The project will work closely with LTCAS members to develop a resource that will support and encourage those living with long term conditions, with a focus on inactive women over the age of 45 and inactive men and women over the age of 65 to engage in walking to improve their health.

We have created this questionnaire to get your views and opinions about walking and to better understand the different factors that influence the amount of walking you do. The project will be shaped by the views and opinions of LTCAS members and those living with long term conditions. Through speaking to our members we can gauge the main barriers and enablers that people living with long term conditions face when engaging in walking activities. Having this knowledge will allow us to direct the project and resources appropriately.

We greatly appreciate your time in filling out this questionnaire and ask that you answer the questions honestly and openly to allow us to fully understand the factors influencing walking activities.

Please complete all the questions and circle all answers where appropriate.

Many thanks
