One of the strategies of the State Board of Education is to work with schools and partners to implement individualized learning approaches that are flexible and provide 21st century career ready skills. Work-based learning (previously called School to Work), whether it’s paid work experiences, non-paid experiences, community based instruction, internships, etc. plays a key role. Therefore, we are interested in providing resources, technical assistance, and information to schools to help build and strengthen work-based learning programs throughout the State of Vermont. Consequently, we need to gather information including who, if anyone, at your school, is involved with work-based learning (WBL). This information is confidential and will only be used to inform the direction of this initiative.
Please take a few minutes to answer the following survey which will help inform our efforts.
Please note that we are aware of what co-op coordinators provide to their CTE centers and we are more interested in what your high school is doing with regard to work based learning.
