Medway University Technology College (UTC) - Parents

We are asking the government for funds to set up a new type of secondary school in Medway, for young people aged 14-19 years. It would be called the Medway University Technical College (UTC) and would specialise in engineering and construction.

The school would offer:
· a mixture of academic subjects (like GCSEs and A levels) and vocational qualifications such as BTECs;
· courses in engineering and construction;
· practical subjects, with projects set by employers;
· work experience with employers;
· help to prepare for university or further education, or an apprenticeship.

We need to know what you think. Please tell us in this short survey.
