The CPSU believes that we getting close to finalising a new enterprise agreement for general staff which will include many improved conditions. However there are several parts of our claims that remain unresolved.

What are the sticking points?
1. University shutdown.
2. Managing Annual Leave: How much can accumulate and how much leave the University can direct you to take if you reach that limit.
3. Salary increase

CPSU Members' claim
1. No clause granting the University the right to use our Annual Leave for a shutdown.
2. The University may direct an employee to take annual leave where an employee has accrued 40 days or more, to reduce their balance to not less than 30 days.
3. 7% per annum

UNSW claim
1.The University may direct staff to take annual leave during a university shutdown.
2.The University may direct an employee to take annual leave where an employee has accrued 30 days or more, to reduce their balance to not less than 10 days.
