Since Tuacahn's inception nearly 17 years ago, volunteers have served a vital role in providing assistance to our guests, which is quickly approaching million visitors.

As Tuacahn continues to grow and our needs expand, we are working to develop a new Volunteer program to meet a large portion of our volunteer needs. We are still in discussions with the Volunteer Center to maintain a relationship to provide assistance at certain times of the year.

Our goal during 2012 is to create a dedicated group of volunteer team members who are willing to provide support to Tuacahn who will provide volunteer services for our 2012 Broadway shows, concerts and other special events.

We want to develop a dedicated, dependable and steady team of volunteers who will ensuire a high standard of service to our customers every evening. The plan is to provide training in advance with specific responsibilities for each volunteer post.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for 2012, please complete this survey. The information you provide will be kept confidential and it will be used to help us gather a great team of volunteers.

5. Tuacahn presents a series of spring and fall concerts, primarily in our amphitheatre. During November and December, Tuacahn will also be presenting a professional production of White Christmas in the Cox Auditorium at Dixie College. Tuacahn also presents a Live Nativity production in the amphitheatre between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Are you available to be scheduled to volunteer during these concerts, shows and special events?

6. What physical limitations, if any, do you have that need to be taken into consideration?

9. Our volunteers are generally assigned a variety of specific hours when scheduled. Some positions begin earlier than others. Some volunteers are needed through intermission, while other positions are needed until about one hour after the production ends (can be as late as 12 midnight in some cases). Do you have any preference or restrictions on what hours you are available to be assigned?

10. During 2012, specific training sessions will be scheduled for our volunteers. Are you willing to be scheduled and attend periodic training sessions?

11. During 2012 Tuacahn expects record attendance. As a result, there may be some performances where there are no seats available for you to watch the production while assigned to be a volunteer, even though your services may still be needed. Are you aware and okay with this?

12. In the past Tuacahn has provided volunteers with "punch cards" which can be exchanged for complimentary tickets. During 2012, Tuacahn will be implementing a new "Volunteer Rewards" program. This will include complimentary tickets for specific performances (concerts and/or shows), special discounts while at Tuacahn engaged as a volunteer, and other special benefits.
