Traverse City Corridors Resident Questionnaire

1. Introduction

The City of Traverse City is conducting a study of five streets within the City (Garfield Ave., Eighth Street, Fourteenth Street, East Front St. and West Front St.), focusing on increasing economic vitality, increasing housing choice and improving public infrastructure. The goal is to find out what the City can do to help these corridors flourish, recognizing that they are prominent centers of business, adjacent to neighborhoods and important traffic corridors.

The boundaries of each study area are as follows:

West Front Street from the western city limits to Wadsworth

East Front Street from Franklin to Fair

Garfield Avenue from Front Street to Boon

Eighth Street from Union to Fair

Fourteenth Street from Division to Boardman Lake

Note that the study area for this project does not include Downtown.
