Thomaston Green Housing Survey
The Town of Thomaston is sponsoring an exciting redevelopment project on its Main Street that will include maintenance-free housing, a possible YMCA, a walking trail, and access to shops and stores downtown. The site is where the former State Prison once stood, high on a bluff overlooking the St. George River. Pictures of the site, and of general housing designs that are possible, are on the Town of Thomaston website at http://town.thomaston.me.us/site/.
This questionnaire is designed to help the Town and its partner, the Developers Collaborative, identify the most desirable features to include in this housing. The architect for the project, Rebecca Dillon, and the developer, Richard Berman, will review the results and present design ideas to a Thomaston Green Housing Focus Group on Monday, March 8, at 7 pm, at Watts Hall.
The questionnaire takes about 10 minutes. It will be compiled by Planning Decisions, professional firm from Hallowell and South Portland.
SURVEY RESPONSES ARE DUE BY FEBRUARY 22, 2010, IN ORDER TO BE INCLUDED IN THE ANALYSIS.
All individual responses to this survey shall be kept anonymous. However, there is an option for those interested in receiving notifications of follow-up meetings and plans to leave an email address.
