THIRD WORLD CENTRE CONSULTATION SURVEY

The Third World Centre, comprising

a) Fair Trade Aberdeen shop,
b) Aberdeen Fairtrade campaign and
c) Montgomery Development Education Centre

is developing a business plan for the next 3 years with the support of Aberdeen Council of Voluntary Organisations (ACVO).

This process recognises that The Third World Centre must be clear in its beliefs, a passionate communicator, fair and trustworthy and well-managed in order to make the most of the strengths and opportunities to which it has access and to tackle the threats and weaknesses it currently faces

The Third World Centre has taken the views of its Board, staff and volunteers regarding the way ahead and now needs to survey the views of its wider external stakeholders :
a) its current and potential customers,
b) its current and potential client organisations and partners
c) its current and potential supporters, members and information recipients
d) its funders, donors and sponsors

The views will then be analysed by ACVO’s Funding & Business Planning Officer and fed back to the Third World Centre Board to be taken into consideration in furthering its plan for the period 2010/11 to 2013/14. No individual respondent will be identified in the ACVO report.

We would be grateful for your time in supporting this process by responding to the questions below. Some of the questions relate to the overall long-term vision and mission of the organisation, some to the messages that the organisation should seek to communicate about its work as it begins implementing its business plan and some to the specific areas of service to the community that the organisation would seek to deliver over the period of this business plan.

With many thanks for your time and input.
