The survey is being conducted by Animal Welfare Approved (www.AnimalWelfareApproved.org) in partnership with the Center for Sustainable Tourism at East Carolina University. The information obtained from the survey will be used to guide marketing and educational programs.
AS A THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING IN THIS SURVEY, you will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to use at an Animal Welfare Approved farm of your choice. The survey closes on April 30, 2011.
The questionnaire should take approximately 20 minutes of your time. Your participation in this study is voluntary and you may withdraw from the study at any time without penalty or loss of benefit. Your consent will be indicated by filling out the survey and returning it. There are no foreseeable risks to participating in the study. The results of this study may be published but no names will be used and individual responses will be maintained in confidence by the researchers. Anonymity and confidentiality will be assured.
While there are no risks to you, your participation will allow us to develop a greater understanding of the sustainable food and beverage market, motivations for purchase, and eating preferences while traveling.
