Thank you for showing interest in becoming a student representative with Pharmaceutical Press.

Why are we looking for Student reps?

As you may already know, Pharmaceutical Press is the recognised, authoratative provider of educational tools and information resources which assist healthcare practitioners in the safe and effective use of medicines. With your co-operation and feedback we aim to support you and your peers with publications and learning materials that help you through your undergraduate career to qualification as a registered pharmacist.

What does being a Student rep involve?

You will gain an insight into the publishing process – from early project development through to launch of new products. Your participation as a rep, will enable us to gather knowledge about pharmacy courses, find out what you really think about the textbooks you use, very importantly how we can improve our own publications, and of course help to spread the word about the really useful PhP publications that have helped you through pharmacy school.

Apart from a chance to have your say about all things pharmacy-education related, there will be opportunities to help with activities we run such as focus groups, writing book reviews, working with our staff on promotional campaigns at your institution, contributing on social media etc. We are always open to suggestions and new ideas and really encourage your input so feel free to come to us with your student rep ideas no matter how crazy they may seem.

How much work is involved?

As a student rep, you can be involved as much or as little as you want. We will match your skills to the tasks at hand and you can let us know what you can and can't do. Many of our activities are rewarded with course books, amazon vouchers, or a cash fee so participation can also be a good way to earn a little extra to help you through. We will always contact you with details beforehand and you can opt out anytime

Thank you.
