Strategic Planning Survey

Five years ago, the Cranbrook Public Library created a strategic plan to lay out how we would grow through to now. A lot has changed since then: ebooks arrived on the scene; the landscaping got revitalized with unique sculptures; there are now hundreds of programs offered each year for children, teens and adults; the website got a complete overhaul; and, starting this September, the Library will be open 7 days a week.

What we found out is that the library is about much more than borrowing books and DVDs, it is a public space where people meet their friends, study, check their email, apply for jobs, research topics like genealogy, take part in programs, and sometimes just to get out of the house.
