What's Your Story? Your experience with trauma-informed care |
Trauma-Informed Story Submission Form
Thank you for sharing your story about what "trauma-informed" means for or when working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. SVJI@MNCASA is working in partnership with the Office of Violence Against Women to explore how the trauma-informed concept is currently understood and applied within the violence against women fields. We expect that a definition, important principles, and best practices will emerge from this project.
Your confidentiality is ensured. Stories will be reviewed by a committee for themes and examples. Stories will not be shared with the public. They may be quoted in a confidential report to the Office of Violence Against Women, with the permission of the author, to show examples of what trauma-informed looks like in practice.
If you have any questions, or would like to relay your story over the phone, please contact Jessica Jerney at jjerney@mncasa.org or (651) 288-7456.
Your voice matters and will have an impact. Thank you for sharing your story!
