Thank you for taking time to take this critically important survey regarding Medicaid Waiver issues for military families. This information is needed to help plan approaches to assure military families have equitable access to Medicaid programs without regard to geographic location. Specialized Training of Military Families (STOMP) is aware that military families can experience barriers when attempting to obtain Medicaid Waivers. We are seeking to identify the issues you are experiencing so that we can partner and work on your behalf to address them. Our intention is to learn what active duty and retired families are experiencing. In order to assure accurate information we ask you to begin the survey with the only required question regarding if you are active duty or retired military. All responses will remain confidential but the information will be tallied and used as we plan strategies at the regional and federal levels to support military families.
Again, we need to learn and then partner to pave a way for improved Medicaid Home and Community Care Waivers for our Military Families. Regardless of whether a military family has moved because of their military career and not choice.
