Our research focuses on how to strengthen and bring momentum to the Slow Fashion movement. We are working to ensure Slow Fashion's move towards sustainability is strategic and accessible.

The survey will take 15-30 minutes to complete. To THANK YOU for your collaboration, we will provide you with a summary of the final results and key findings. We want to help you find strategic solutions for improving your business in a sustainable way.

Some background:

The idea of Slow Fashion originates from our desire of replicating in fashion the success achieved in the food industry by the Slow Food experience.

Contrary to current trends, Slow Food has demonstrated the real possibility of linking food quality to the safeguarding of local products and to the sustainable enhancement of the skills, expertise and organizational models from which such products originate.

The business case of Slow Food builds on its:

• local success
• global success thanks to the media coverage
• the capacity to merge the need for ethical, social and environmental reasons together with “good and beautiful”
• the perception that everything that Slow Food proposes aims to improve people’s quality of life
• the ability to make cultural propositions and support them through adequate organizational structures on a local level

Similarly, the aim of Slow Fashion is to design, produce and consume fashion in a way that acknowledges its impacts on society and the environment and acts to decelerate the current rate of fashion production and consumption.

Slow Fashion producers are responsible, transparent and resourceful and they respect all people in the supply chain. Most materials are selected locally to manufacture high quality and beautiful garments that carry skills and traditions of the area they were made in. Producers actively build relationships and collaborate with all stakeholders in the industry to innovate solutions.

Slow Fashion, as Slow Food, wants to improve people’s quality of life, by truly meeting fundamental human needs such as creativity, identity and participation and preserving biological and cultural diversity.
