Mandatory: Read the Sundt Code of Safe Practices...

No one ill or fatigued is required or permitted to work.

Unruly behavior of any kind is not allowed.

No weapons, children, animals, or music devices are allowed on the jobsite.

No one under the influence or possession of drugs or intoxicating liquor is allowed on the job.

Mobile electronic devices / radios restricted to jobsite communication only and not used “in motion”.

Follow "No Smoking" rules.

Anyone improperly using portable restrooms or writing graffiti will be removed from the job.

Immediately report all injuries, near misses, equipment/property damage, spills, and incidents to the Sundt Superintendent.

Immediately report any unsafe and / or unsanitary conditions to the supervision or the Sundt Superintendent. If possible, correct the condition first, and then report. Do not work in the area until the hazard has been corrected.

Report all defective equipment to supervision.

100% eye and hand protection on site. Follow OSHA and/or manufacturer requirements regarding PPE.

High-visibility clothing shall be worn by all persons on site.

No loose or frayed clothing, sweatpants, shorts, or badly worn shoes shall be worn. Shirts must have sleeves.

Seat belts must be worn when provided in equipment.

Elevated tools and materials must be tethered or protective system in place to prevent dropped objects.

Do not throw materials, tools, or other objects from buildings or structures.

Do not enter an unprotected excavation that is five feet or deeper.

Fall protection is required above 6’.

Maintain guardrails, barricades, and danger/caution tape.

Install, secure, label and maintain covers on all floor, deck, manhole, and roof openings.

Full-body harness and restraint lanyard or self-retracting lanyard required in boom lifts.

Midrail chains must be secured when using scissor lifts.

Only nonconductive ladders allowed—no metal ladders.

Competent persons must inspect scaffolding before use.

Do not tamper with electrical wiring, equipment, or machinery.

Use GFCI protection for electrical equipment.

Remove damaged cords from work areas.

Proper lockout / tagout procedures shall be followed.

Confined spaces must be identified/labeled.

Air testing and training is required prior to entering a confined space.

Comply with all regulations regarding hazardous materials.

Clean up all liquid spills immediately.

Keep work areas clean at all times.

Follow jobsite speed limits.

Know where emergency exits are located.

Know where fire extinguishers are located.
