Roland Johnson was an outspoken person and leader in our national self-advocacy movement.

SABE gives the Roland Johnson Award to honor a self-advocate for his or her hard work in the self-advocacy movement.

The award will be presented at the National Self-Advocacy Conference in Kansas City, Missouri on September 23-26, 2010. The person does not need to be present to receive the award.
