Personal Statement
  • Why do you want to earn a Ph.D.?
  • Why do you wish to participate in the MBRS-RISE Ph.D. Training Program?
  • Describe your research experience up to now.
  • Discuss your long-term goals, addressing career and post-doctoral plans.
  • Any other relevant information that you feel the Student Selection Committee should take into consideration when assessing your application.


Supporting Documents
  • Unofficial graduate and undergraduate transcripts
  • Current CV
  • Copy of accepted research proposal
  • Copy of abstracts and publications on which you were an author
