Prevent Child Abuse America - Wyoming Chapter

1. Default Section

Hello...

Many of you participated (some receiving this may not have) in a conference call earlier this year about the possibility of creating a Prevent Child Abuse America Chapter here in Wyoming. You may remember that the previous one closed last year after many years of child abuse prevention advocacy.

At the conclusion of that call, the Wyoming Children's Action Alliance was going to determine whether or not they would steward a new chapter. Since that time, their board has declined to actually work on starting the chapter, but they certainly support such an effort.

The Wyoming Citizen Review Panel Executive Committee has agreed to begin the process of exploring and possibly creating a Wyoming Chapter and has been working with Barbara Schaffer from Prevent Child Abuse America.

Information about Prevent Child Abuse America can be found at: http://www.preventchildabuse.org/index.shtml.

Part of the creation process is hearing from you, and what you would like to see in a Wyoming Chapter.

Please take a moment and take our short survey. Also, please feel free to forward this survey on to others.

We appreciate your thoughts, comments and good wishes as we move forward and always want to hear from you!

1. What three issues would you like to see a new Prevent Child Abuse Chapter begin work on in Wyoming?

2. What would you list as the top three long term goals for a new Prevent Child Abuse Chapter in Wyoming?

3. What resources are you aware of, or what are your suggestions for sustaining a Prevent Child Abuse Chapter in Wyoming?

4. Do you have any other thoughts or suggestions?

Thank you for your time. Again, the Wyoming Citizen Review Panel is in the very initial phase of exploring and hopefully creating a Wyoming Chapter.

As this project moves forward, we want to hear from you at wycrp@wycrp.org, or call us at (307) 632-0032. Also, please check our website at www.wycrp.org and follow us on Twitter at WYCRP!
