While there are expectations in relation to conduct and quality, we understand the demands on the time of both Mentors and Mentees. Therefore, the program allows Mentors and Mentees flexibility to choose the best mode of communication that best fits their schedules.

However, once you are informed about your mentoring partner, you must complete the Mentoring Agreement:

NOTE: Either the Mentor or Mentee fills out the form below. You fill the form out together over the phone. Once the form is completed and submitted, each of you will receive an email copy within one week.

MENTOR AND MENTEE MUST FILL OUT THE BELOW MENTORING AGREEMENT TOGETHER OVER THE PHONE. ONLY NEED ONE AGREEMENT SUBMITTED BY EITHER MENTOR OR MENTEE.

This agreement and its contents will be confidential unless otherwise specified. This agreement sets forth the objectives that the Mentor and Mentee commit to working together. Both agree to follow the guidelines of this agreement for the period specified and to make a good faith effort to resolve any issues that may arise between them during the mentoring relationship.

Hold Harmless:

The undersigned Mentor and Mentee, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Potters Council and The American Ceramic Society from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury of whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, in connection with participation in the Potters Council Mentoring Program. The Mentor and Mentee agree to hold Potters Council and The American Ceramic Society free and harmless of any claim or suit arising therefrom. Potters Council and The American Ceramic Society do not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property.
