1. Pitch An Article, Blog, Or Column Idea To Creative Screenwriting Magazine

Dear Writer,

Thank you very much for your interest in pitching an article idea to Creative Screenwriting Magazine.

However, at the risk of throwing cold water on your hot idea, we would like to highlight a few thoughts.

First, we are focusing adding content that writers tell us they NEED, not content that would be merely
interesting to read. So your article might well be a wonderful article and still not meet our editorial
guidelines. For that, we apologize and wish you success publishing it elsewhere. See our
"needs" list on the previous page for guidance.

Second, please be sure your synopsis is clear. It is usually a good idea to write it offline rather than
try to write it on the fly in this form.

Third, the lead... It's a good idea to take some time to write your suggested lead paragraph offline as well.

Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you.
