File Purchase Extension Request Rules
1. There are no extension requests for loans not meeting the "closing" and "file delivery" dates.
2. Extensions may be granted for loans not purchased within 60 days.
3. EXTENSIONS MUST BE REQUESTED PRIOR TO 60 DAYS FROM RATE LOCK.
4. Extensions will be for 1 - 30 calendar days.
5. An extension will require a reduction of Lender net profit from 1.75% to 1.40% to account for the additional negative arbitrage and/or rate hedging byt the Issuer
6. Mortgage loans that are late for purchase and not delivered within the authroized extension period will be cancelled.

As a reminder, you cannot submit a request for Loan Purchase Extension if the file has not ben delivered to US Bank and eHousingPlus before the 60th day.

You can find this information by logging into the lender portal and from the Main Menu click on Lender Pipeline. Then Click on either Compliance Approved or Compliance Review Exceptions to find your loan. The second column from the left notes the number of days in the system.

- if this request is approved the lender net profit on this loan will be reduced from 1.75% to 1.40%.

- if the loan is not purchased by the end of the authorized extension period the loan will cancel and cannot be reinstated.
