1. Our Power Citizens Group
The Our Power Citizens Group was formed following the May 2009 announcment of the decision to sell off the $5 billion in generating assets that was owned by the City of Edmonton as part of EPCOR. Edmontonians were very angry that this decision was made in secret with no opportunity for public consultation or scrutiny and there remains many unanswered questions. This survey is for all candidates who are running in the October 18th, 2010 City of Edmonton elections to express their views on this issue. All candidates are asked to complete the survey by October 5th. The results of the survey will be made public and distributed to the media and the thousands of people who have signed on to this campaign. We thank you for taking the time to fill out the survey.
