Thank you for participating

Using two rating scales, you will be asked to assess a student's performance in two different OSCE stations.

Use your clinical experience and expertise to judge the performance and then award a global score for the student considering the following:
(1) Remember the level of the exam: this student is a fourth year medical student within a five year degree course, the exam is part of the assessment at the completion of the degree's Surgery module
(2) The grade should be a holistic judgement on the student’s performance
(2) Use the range of global scores.
(3) Don't be afraid to fail (or indeed give high honours) to the student, if you feel it is appropriate.

Each OSCE station consists of a 3 minute video of the history and a 2 minute audio-clip of answers to the follow-up questions for the station. Please listen to both before completing your assessment.

First, please answer some initial demographic questions.
