These resources help encourage community involvement, get more media attention, attract and cultivate partnerships, and multiply your efforts. There are electronic resources such as online ribbons and banners, partner logos, and planning & media templates. You can download these at the NeighborWoods Month website. Additionally, ACTrees offers a suite of FREE printed materials and gear that you can order. Samples of all materials can be viewed at the NeighborWoods Month website. NeighborWoodsTM Month Mini-Grants
Again this year, ACTrees is offering Mini-Grants to enable you to host a more successful event. Eligible events involve the public during October in tree planting, tree care, education, and other activities that engage people in urban and community forestry, and are branded as NeighborWoodsTM Month events. Envision mini-grants as a way to accomplish something extra. We encourage you to focus on marketing, media, and elevating the quality of your NeighborWoodsTM Month event. Only ACTrees members are eligible, and there's always time to join!
