NeighborWoods Month Registration- 2010

NeighborWoods Month is a national campaign to regreen America's cities. Join us this October to celebrate volunteerism and community revitalization. It is a great way to draw attention to the value of trees and invest in the overall health and success of our communities.

Just complete a few details about your event. For Location, note where volunteers are expected. For Project Description, include information that makes this project interesting to the local community. ACT will use your project description in our national media efforts. Answer: Who, What, When, Where, Why. Is there something special about this community? Will any elected officials or guests be present? Provide a quote from your spokesperson and any interesting statistics.

Please note that your event does not need to be a tree planting or care project. Anything that advocates for and advances the cause of urban forestry qualifies as a NeighborWoods Month event.

Registration is almost complete. The next step is to Order Free Supplies. ACT offers free NeighborWoods Month materials including Planning Kits, posters, kids’ activity cards, door hangers, Tshirts, and banners to help you promote your NeighborWoods Month event. If you don't need any supplies, simply enter zero for all of the fields and click "Register" on the next page.
