1. System requirements for participation in Smart Energy Monitoring program

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Smart Energy Monitoring program. In order to confirm your eligibility to participate, please answer the following questions. We will be reviewing the responses to this survey in mid-June and will let you know at that time if you have been selected for the program:

1. You will need an outlet within six feet of your electrical panel for the monitor to be installed, or provide an extension cord. Can you meet this requirement?

2. You will need high-speed internet access. The internet access must be DSL, Cable or Verizon FiOS. Please indicate that you have high-speed internet:

3. You will need extra ports on your internet router or internet hub. Ideally, plug a laptop using an Ethernet cable to into one of the free ports to make sure the ports are enabled. Do you have an extra port as described?

4. Our system requires special configuration to work with the Apple Airport Extreme. Do you have an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station?

5. We have the following additional systems requirements:
You will need to have Flash 9 or greater installed on your computer, or be willing/able to install it prior to being set up.
You will need to have one of the following Internet Browsers: Internet Explorer 6 (or greater), Firefox (2+) or Safari (2+)
You will need to have one of the following operating systems? PC: Windows (XP or higher), Mac OS X 10.4+

Are you able to meet all of these requirements, or be willing to install software to meet them?

6. Sites with PV (solar power) and a utility tie-in that runs the electric meter backwards are not currently supported. Therefore we cannot install the system in homes with this feature. Do you have this type of feature?
