Joint Council's Orphan and Family Database

If you are a U.S. citizen who has been referred a child from Nepal, please take a moment and fill-in your adoption information. The database will allow Joint Council to advocate with the U.S. and Nepalese governments, as appropriate, for the cases currently in process.

By competing this survey you allow Joint Council the unequivocal right to share the information with U.S. Congressional Offices and other government entities as deemed necessary by Joint Council.

Your participation is needed and appreciated, as we hope this will help to bring the children of Nepal closer to a safe, permanent and loving family. Joint Council has created similar databases during recent crisis' in Guatemala, Haiti, and Kyrgyzstan. Having the information of children and families involved is imperative in our advocacy efforts.

If you are unsure about how to answer a question, please contact your adoption service provider.

If you are in the process of adopting more than one child, please fill out a separate survey for each child.

Please do NOT complete this survey if you were in the process of adopting from Nepal but had NOT yet received a referral. If you would like to receive general update from Joint Council regarding Nepal, please:
