1. Leader's Introduction

Dear Resident

Thank you for helping us to prioritise our budget in these tricky financial times. Please answer all the questions below and let us have your postcode so that it adds to the information we need to help us make difficult decisions whilst our budgets are being reviewed over the coming months. Your feedback will be assessed regularly from now until the closing date for responses which is 31 December 2010.

The results of the survey will be available on the Council's website on 1 March 2011 - we will tell you what you said and how we used this information.

To help you in completing this survey and so that you know what services the Council provides, there is a list of services at Section 3 of the questionnaire. However if you would like more information on any of the Council's services, please check out the menu on the homepage of the website at www.melton.gov.uk or call Customer Services on 01664 502502.

If you wish to discuss any part of this survey further, please email me at leader@melton.gov.uk.

Thank you so much for your help.

Yours sincerely

Councillor Malise Graham MBE
