The Lumosity Education Access Program (LEAP) is a program that gifts educators with Lumosity memberships for their students, offering access to cognitive training exercises clinically proven to improve memory, attention span and problem-solving skills. The program is open to both private and public school educators with students in Third through Twelfth grades. Educators can apply for up to 50 six-month memberships for their students to use within school, a $3,000 value, in exchange for feedback on the use and effectiveness of Lumosity with their students.
Amount:
Up to 50 six-month memberships per teacher
Restrictions:
Grantees must be from a public or non-for-profit private school
Each Lumosity membership must be used by one, and only one student, and may not be shared with other individuals
Eligibility:
Applicants must be practicing:
public or private school teachers in grades 3–12;
public or private school education support professionals such as psychologists or;
faculty at public or private higher education institutions.
Deadlines:
There are two deadlines to apply for participation in LEAP,
Fall Semester
July 15th Deadline, August 1st Notification
Spring Semester
November 15th Deadline, December 1st Notification
Duration:
The provided memberships will last for 1 semester from the time of activation. Educators wishing to extend the Lumosity training to 2 semesters should indicate so on their application.
