1. About the Leaders of Tomorrow Program
Dear Mentee:
The National Black MBA Association is a non-profit, professional membership organization established in 1970. Our members are business professionals, entrepreneurs and students whose goal is to increase intellectual wealth and economic vitality in the Black community.
Annually, the San Francisco Chapter sponsors a mentoring program called Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT). As a LOT mentee, you are paired with a member of the San Francisco/BayArea chapter of the National Black MBA Association who enthusiastically cares about your interests and development as a leader.
The LOT program is designed to help you gain real life skills that will be an asset to your future. The program is two weekends a month of fun and exciting interactions. Mentors will prepare mentees for networking and interviewing professionals in their area of interest, college tours, community service, and the national LOT Case Competition.
Please complete the following application in its entirety by March 2. The completed application assists us with partnering you with a mentor who shares your background and interests.
We will meet every other Saturday in downtown Oakland from 10a - 2p beginning March 10 and ending August 25. (The exact address and schedule will be sent after application submission.)
Thank you for your interest in becoming a San Francisco Leaders of Tomorrow mentee. Please contact bayareaLOT@gmail.com with questions.
Sincerely,
Shamieka Nixon
