Local and Regional Ecumenism Survey
1. Introduction
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey! The information you provide will help to build up the ecumenical movement and help local and regional ecumenical and interfaith communities to make new connections and collaborations.
This survey is designed to collect information that will be made available to the public in order to facilitate networking with and among local and regional ecumenical and interfaith organizations. This information will be made available primarily in the form of a public Web-based searchable directory of profiles on the National Council of Churches Web site and linked from the National Association of Ecumenical and Interreligious Staff Web site. This resource will be marketed to funders as well as related faith communities and non-profit organizations.
A mailing list (with U.S. mail addresses only) will also be generated which may be shared, with discretion, upon request from appropriate organizations or individuals seeking to connect to the ecumenical community. This will be rare. A different mechanism is being developed for e-mail communications via a monthly or bi-weekly newsletter option managed by NCC (without sharing e-mail address lists). You will be notified when that option becomes available and will have the chance to opt out.
It should take 20-50 minutes to complete the survey. You have to do the survey in one sitting, so it is recommended that you scan it first and develop text-based answers in a word processing document. Then you can paste them in to the form when ready in order to minimize any unexpected technical difficulties.
The survey is tailored to established organizations, but any group of any size doing ecumenical or interfaith work at a local or regional level is invited to respond, including youth groups, neighborhood initiatives, and clergy associations, etc. Not all questions will apply to all groups--please skip any questions which do not apply to your group or which you do not wish to answer.
***Please provide information exactly as you wish it to appear in the directory.***
