Borough of Lansdale Business Owner:

As many of you know, the Borough is in the process of determining the feasibility of implementing a Business Improvement District (BID) within the downtown commercial core of the Borough. BIDs are utilized in diverse communities nationwide and each BID offers customized services and programs that best meet the needs of their local business community.

We are seeking input from business owners to determine the most appropriate services that could be provided by the Lansdale BID. We’d like to ensure that our efforts to revitalize Lansdale’s downtown are compatible with the needs of our business community. The following pages provide an opportunity for you to tell us about your business and your business assistance needs.

The survey is confidential, so please feel free to be direct. Survey results will be analyzed and used to inform the BID Plan governing the activities of Lansdale’s BID. We appreciate your time and look forward to your responses.

WHY SHOULD I FILL OUT THIS SURVEY?
To help us determine a plan to create the most efficient and useful BID services based on your business needs.

DO I HAVE TO FILL IN ALL THE QUESTIONS?
No, but the more information you provide, the more accurate and useful our analysis will be and the more informed the resulting BID Plan will be.

WHAT IS THE SURVEY DEADLINE?
Please complete and submit the survey by FRIDAY AUGUST 31, 2012

If you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to call John Ernst, Director of Community Development, at 215.368.1691 or jernst@lansdale.org.
