This survey is for currently active, not-for-profit lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) groups, organisations and projects based in and serving Greater London. We intend for the term ‘LGBTQ’ to include all diverse organising around sexuality and gender identity.
We particularly encourage grassroots, less formal and short term or ad hoc groups to complete this survey.
The information produced will form the basis of the London LGBT Almanac 2nd Edition. The Almanac provides a strategic information base for diverse London LGBT organisations to plan and develop. The Almanac gives organisers an opportunity to communicate about their work and to make connections with other organisers. Everyone who completes the survey will receive a free printed copy of the Almanac.
The London LGBT Almanac 1st Edition, published by Kairos in Soho in January 2011, provided an important benchmark to measure changes to the London LGBT organising landscape year on year, in a rapidly changing climate. It’s available here: http://www.kairosinsoho.org.uk/KISalmanacRGB.pdf

Each organisation that completes the Almanac Survey will receive entry into a prize draw and two free tickets to a Historical Guided Tour of LGBT Soho.
Some of your responses to the questions that follow will be treated confidentially. This will be indicated before the question. We will not publish sensitive information about your organisation.
