Dynamic. Fast-paced. Student driven. Be a part of the Ontario Museum Association's new Forging Ahead: Ideas in Motion session presented by the new OMA Emerging Museum Professionals Advisory Committee at the OMA Annual Conference, Culture: Taking Charge, November 6-8, 2013 in Markham.

The OMA Conference Program Committee and the OMA Emerging Museum Professionals Advisory Committee encourage students and recent graduates to participate in an Ignite/Pecha Kucha-style session all about the real work you have done in museums and the big ideas that you have for the future. Change is constant and museums are adapting, how would YOU take museums into the future?

Who are we looking for?
• University and College students and recent graduates who have done internships or work placements within the past 24 months (since summer 2011)
• OMA Certificate in Museum Studies students and recent graduates whose final course assignments have become real projects within the past 24 months (since summer 2011)

What do we want to hear about?
1. Tell us about a real-world project that you worked on as part of your studies.
2. What one thing could museums do to take charge of their futures?

What’s the format?
• You have 5 minutes and 20 slides that advance automatically every 15 seconds

When is the session?
• Friday, November 8, 2013, 12:45 – 1:35pm
