The ibstpi Instructional Designer Competencies
The purpose of this survey is to determine the extent to which the ibstpi instructional designer competencies and their related performance statements reflect those skills most critical to individuals who undertake instructional design projects.
This survey has four sections:
Section 1: Your Instructional Designer Background
Section 2: Instructional Designer Competency and Importance
Section 3: Additional Background Characteristics
Section 4: Additional Comments
Section 1 includes 5 questions and should take you about 1 minute.
Section 2 should take you about 15 minutes. There are 22 competencies and 105 performance statements. You are advised to submit your responses when prompted at several points during the survey rather than at the end.
Section 3 includes 6 questions and will take about 1 minute.
Section 4 asks for optional comments. The length of time depends on how extensive your comments are.
