Interactive Compliance Assistance (iCOMPASS) User Survey

What is iCOMPASS?

The DEEP is exploring the development of a computer-based, interactive compliance assistance tool (“iCOMPASS”) to help hazardous waste handlers in Connecticut comply with hazardous waste requirements. Users would answer a series of questions about the hazardous waste activities at their site, and the iCOMPASS system would provide them with detailed and specific information about the hazardous waste requirements that apply. The iCOMPASS system could also be designed to provide links to the DEEP website on topics that apply to the user, including required forms and formats for required compliance documentation.

DEEP would like to hear from people involved in the management of hazardous waste in Connecticut regarding their interest in and preferences for iCOMPASS. The survey should only take a few minutes. By completing this survey, potential users can help DEEP make iCOMPASS as helpful and user-friendly as possible.
