7. The revised 16+ policy proposes that the local authority will only consider providing transport for young people over school age who have a Statement of Special Educational Needs or Learner Support Plan. It also introduces charges for specialised transport. This approach is taken following consultation where parents indicated a willingness to pay for transport services and that service should focus on those in most need. Do you agree with the introduction of charges?
