About this Survey

Scadding Court Community Centre (SCCC) wants to find out how much the public knows about how to make a complaint against a police officer in Ontario.

Completing this survey is an opportunity to help change the Ontario police complaints system and contribute to the discussion happening on Monday, November 26 and Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Metro Hall in Toronto. SCCC and the University of Waterloo will engage Ontarians, police, and government representatives to examine the current police complaints system in Ontario, and to discuss ways to continue to improve the system. The result of the Forum will be a final report of recommendations to be delivered to the Office of the Independent Police Review Director (OIPRD) and the Ontario Attorney General. However, in order to make relevant recommendations, we need your help.

This survey is anonymous - you do not need to provide your name or contact information. All answers are strictly confidential and will be used by SCCC and the Forum Steering Committee for planning and promotion purposes.

Please take 5 minutes to complete our survey and contribute to improving the Ontario police complaints system. Thank you for your time.
