Survey Purpose:
The Mornington Peninsula Shire is undertaking research to gain information on the important Agriculture, Food and Beverage Economy of the region. This survey is designed to capture the views and opinions of businesses, groups and individuals involved in value-adding and supporting primary production on the Mornington Peninsula. This survey is for wineries, agrotourism, bakeries, consultants, contractors etc.
Your answers will help shape a five-year Food Economy and Agroecology Strategy to foster a thriving, resilient food economy.
If you are primarily involved in farming (primary production) a different survey is available for you (click this link to Shire website).
We are also interviewing key stakeholders in government and peak industry groups and conducting focus group sessions. If you would like to be involved in further consultation please indicate at the end of the survey.
Please note that this study is not designed to focus on food retail or hospitality. Whilst many businesses will have an element of retail or hospitality, if these are your primary business activities the Food Economy and Agroecology Strategy will not reflect your industry.
At a critical time of concern about food security and climate change the Food Economy and Agroecology Strategy will help guide the future of the food and beverage sector on the Peninsula and assist in advocacy and collaborations with industry groups, governments, relevant organisations and the community.
