6. Committing to be an EYSC Team Mentor means you are committing to a minimum of 20 hours of mentoring during the soccer season, which runs from August through November. Our goal is to have mentors attend at least one practice a week with the team, and also attend games when possible.

7. EYSC is committed to the guidelines of Positive Coaching Alliance to providing all youth athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience.

EYSC requires all coaches to be PCA certified. We are also asking our Mentors to take an online PCA course (no charge) that will give them skills and tools to assist them when on the field with youth athletes.

Upon completion of the course, each mentor will receive a PCA Certificate.
