The reason we are asking this question is not because we plan to disclose survey answers from an individual responder to a third party. We will not do this.
We are asking because we frequently and routinely interact with other organizations on a wide range of subjects important in representing Dana Point boater interests. The parties include State, County and City agencies and officials, as well as OC DPH and other harbor stakeholders. During these discussions it can sometimes be helpful to quote individual boaters as a source of an opinion. Perhaps even to facilitate a direct follow up conversation. This isn't going to happen all the time, but occasionally it may be quite useful in influencing policy and/or making decisions important to all of us boaters.
