Draft Destination 2036 Action Plan
Destination 2036
The Destination 2036 Draft Action Plan is a document prepared by the NSW Government with the help of the Local Government and Shires Associations, the Local Government Managers Australia (NSW) and the Australian Centre of Excellence for Local Government. Destination 2036 outlines a plan for how the local government sector can consider and respond to changes in population, technologies and economy and what these changes will mean, both for our communities and for the councils that serve them.
The Destination 2036 Steering Committee has called for comments on the draft plan, and the City of Canada Bay is considering making a submission based on community and local stakeholder feedback. Please help us by providing your views on the questions that follow.
The five brief sections each relate to a strategic direction included in the Plan, and we have included summarised information about that question. For a complete copy of the draft, please visit http://www.dlg.nsw.gov.au.
