California Youth Crisis Line - Volunteer Crisis Counselor Application

Youth as a crisis counselor on the California Youth Crisis Line!

This application is the first step in becoming a volunteer crisis counselor for the California Youth Crisis Line.

Please fill out this application to the best of your ability. If you don't have answers or experience in counseling, don't worry - we are happy to mentor, train, and share our skills with motivated volunteers. The most important skill a volunteer can bring to our agency is a passionate commitment to empowering the lives of California's youth.

You MUST complete all 40 hours of training prior to answering calls on the Crisis Line. The 40 hours of training is spread out over our training period, which is a total of three weeks. Please determine if your scheduling conflicts allow for this BEFORE applying for this position.
