1. Cost-Saving Initiatives
The new state law requires local governments to develop and submit multi-year government efficiency plans.
To assist counties in these efforts, NYSAC is compiling information on successful shared service projects, mergers, and cooperation agreements. We appreciate any details you can provide about successful projects and/or barriers you've encountered to such efforts.
Definitions of each of these initiatives are included in the questions below.
