Long Distance Grandparenting: Building Good Relationships across the Miles

For generations grandparents have provided support and care for their children and grandchildren.
There are many kinds of grandparents and an increasing number of step-grandparents. Some live locally and share in the day-to-day care of their grandchildren as grandparents have done in extended families down the centuries. Others live hundreds of miles away so can’t see their grandchildren as often as they might like.

If you are a grandparent, we’d like to hear your views about the impact that distance has on your family relationships. Your input will help us to help more families across the UK by generating press coverage and publicity for Care for the Family.
