April 2011

The following builds on the past two annual surveys conducted by CCIC and on a survey done by the Ontario Council for International Co-operation (OCIC) for their provincial members in February 2011.

ABOUT THE SURVEY
CCIC is doing this survey in the context of our model “New Deal” between CCIC and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) to garner a more complete picture of the status of our members with regards to both current CIDA funding and future proposals. The goals of the survey are twofold: to better understand member organizations' current funding status, concerns, and challenges and to help shape CCIC’s programming in this area in the coming year.

Individual surveys and their results will be treated as confidential. CCIC understands that funding information is extremely sensitive for many organizations. Accordingly, while we will share the aggregate results and general trends with Members at the Annual General Meeting in May in a brief Summary of Findings, any data shared publically will not identify your organization.

This survey has been sent to the official CCIC contact person noted in your membership file. Please ensure that the survey is completed by the person best suited to respond on behalf of your organization.

This survey is open from April 14 to May 5, 2011. CCIC will do periodic surveys on CIDA funding to update trends.

IT WILL TAKE ABOUT FIFTEEN MINUTES TO COMPLETE.
